User accounts can be hidden at the Welcome Screen in Windows XP.
You can also log in to these hidden Accounts from the Welcome Screen.

On Certain Computers running Ubuntu the sound volume is very low in spite of increasing the volume to the maximum.You can barely hear dialogues in movies and you cannot enjoy music on such computers.
This low volume problem can be easily fixed by increasing the volume from the terminal.
